2022 NASCAR Xfinity 500 Race Odds, Prop Bets and Race Winner

Xfinity 500 Predictions And Odds

The third and final race of the NASCAR Playoffs Round of 8, the 2022 Xfinity 500 from Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, Virginia will be racing this coming Sunday October 30th.

Last weekend, in the 2022 NASCAR Dixie Vodka 400 from the Homestead-Miami Speedway, saw Kyle Larson emerged victorious. The Xfinity 500 will be the 35th race of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season and it is a 500-lap race on the 0.526-mile (0,847 km) short track at Martinsville. Last year in the 2021 Xfinity 500, Alex Bowman (Hendrick Motorsports) won the race while Chase Elliott led the most Laps (289).

Elliott is the Xfinity 500 Race betting Odds favorite heading into Sunday at the top NASCAR betting sites. Dixie Vodka 400 winner Larson is listed at 12/1 Xfinity 500 Race Odds and a semi-longshot here after taking care of business last weekend down in the Sunshine State.

The win last week was sweet justice for Larson, who was involved in an unfortunate incident in Sin City with Bubba Wallace Jr. intentionally sideswiping Larson, and subsequently taking both drivers out of the race. After that collision, Wallace attacked Larson in the infield. (Round 1 was a Draw.)

Wallace was suspended by NASCAR for his actions and Larson won last weekend but he is in 9th place and was taken out of contention by Wallace so Bubba won’t be getting a Christmas card from Kyle this year. Or next year. After Elliott, the Xfinity 500 Race betting Odds see Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney at 7/1, Joey Logano and William Byron at 8/1, Martin Truex Jr. (10/1), and last week’s winner Larson and Kyle Busch—racing his last time in the M&M car with Joe Gibbs Racing—both priced at 14/1.

The NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 will come next weekend on Sunday, November 6 from the Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, AZ (3 EDT/2 CDT/12 PDT). Here are the Xfinity 500 odds from the Futures book at BetOnline as well as offer up some NASCAR Xfinity 500 Prop Bets for Sunday’s big race. Will we see a surprise 20th winner for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season at Martinsville?

Race Winning Manufacturer: A Chevy Again?

Chevrolet had the top four finishers at the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Dixie 400 in Kyle Larson (winner), Chastain (2nd place), the impressive AJ Allmendinger (3rd place), and Austin Dillon (4th place).

Chevrolet has been the hottest manufacturer this season and may win again here.

Chastain (14/1 to win 2022 NASCAR Xfinity 500, BetOnline) drives the No. 1 Chevrolet and finished in 2nd place at Homestead last weekend. He was also the 2nd-place finisher in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400.

Chastain won the 2022 Texas Grand Prix in Austin and the 2022 GEICO 500 in Talladega for his first two NASCAR Cup Series wins ever. He was also close to winning these last two races and so close to that coveted Final 4. Expect another quality race from the Chevrolets in this spot on Sunday.

Chevrolet will be represented with some really good drivers this weekend with Elliott (+250 to be Top Finishing Chevrolet), Byron, Larson, and Chastain the cream of the Chevy crop in this field.

The No. 1 Chevrolet of Ross Chastain always seems to be in the mix of late. Two consecutive 2nd place finishes and so much consistency mean a green light in terms of betting on this Florida native with several NASCAR Xfinity 500 Race prop bets.

This is one of them.

And for those of you NASCAR bettors looking for a nice longshot bet this Sunday here in the Xkinity 500, give Allmendinger (50/1) some serious consideration. A $10 Futures wager on him would yield $500 should he win here on the short track and he will most definitely be up for it.

The 29-year-old Chastain is hot and at the right time in the 2022 NASCAR Cup series season. The Watermelon Man and his Chevrolet will head into Martinsville with 21 points behind Las Vegas winner and title qualified Logano (24 points) and Elliott (46 points). Embrace the logic.

Chastain (Trackhouse Racing Team) and his No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 now have 5 Top 10 finishes in the last 7 races (2nd place, 2nd place, 4th place, 6th place, 7th place). Chastain also was good in the Xfinity and Camping Truck World series’ this season.

Take Chastain Over Kyle Busch in Drivers’ Matchups Props

This NASCAR Cup Series Xfinity 500 Props Bet head-to-head Drivers’ Matchups from BetOnline has a number of nice matchups, but the Kyle Bush (Even) vs Ross Chastain (-130) one is intriguing. Bettors may have an edge backing the favorite in this Xfinity 500 props odds market.

Kyle Busch will be racing his second-to-last race for Joe Gibbs Racing and the Las Vegas native would love to help deliver the team its 200th victory here. But easier said than done. Especially with the aforementioned Chevrolets running so well.

As we said, Chastain has been torrid of late, with back-to-back 2nd place finishes and a desire to make the final 4 at Phoenix. Busch really has nothing to gain but pride, and he finished in 9th place last week in the Dixie 400.

Xfinity 500 Betting Odds: Chastain at 14/1 Holds Value?

There have been a NASCAR record-tying 19 different drivers who have won this 2022 Cup Series season. And unlike F1 where Max Verstappen has dominated the circuit, we have seen Favorites and/or co-Favorites perform quite poorly at the betting window this calendar year.

Three guys stick out to me in this race: race favorite Elliott (6/1), the red-hot Chastain (14/1), and longshot Allmendinger (50/1). And all three of them drive Chevrolets. Regular Season champion Elliott, drives the No. 9 Camaro (ZL1) for Hendrick Motorsports. Chastain drives the No. 1 Camaro (ZL1) for Trackhouse Racing Team, and last week’s 3rd-place finisher Allmendinger behind the wheel of the No. 16 Camaro (ZL1) for Kaulig Racing.

After two straight 2nd place finishes, Chastain may finally get the much-deserved checkered flag here and head into Arizona with a chance to really make a name for himself this NASCAR season.

Chastain won 50 times in his Short Track career in feature events. He also notched his first two NASCAR wins ever this season, winning the 2022 Texas Grand Prix and the 2022 GEICO 500 at Talladega.

In his career, Chastain has 28 Top 10 finishes and this has easily been his best season in the top circuit. Drivers haven’t won back-to-back weeks (Larson) nor have the NASCAR Cup Series Favorites (Elliott). And Chevrolets have fared very well, so Chastain appears due and value-laden at 14/1 odds.
