Both Jake and Logan Paul have decided to break into the combat sports world recently. Former NBA star Nate Robinson has taken issue with Jake’s behavior and now wants to face him in the ring. Many feel that we may actually see Robinson vs. Paul sometime later this year.
These strange kinds of celebrity boxing matches have grown popular over the past few years. Today, we’re going to check out likelihood of the proposed matchup between Jake Paul and Nate Robinson coming together. We’ll also look at some of the other fights the Paul brothers might find themselves in this year.

Jake Paul’s Move Into Boxing Proves Successful
The popularity of combat sports like MMA and boxing is more popular right now than ever before. It’s so popular, in fact, that some celebrities are trying their hand in the fight game. Back in January of 2020, controversial YouTuber Jake Paul competed in his first professional boxing match.
Paul took on fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in what was scheduled to be a six-round bout. The two fighters threw wild punches at each other, yet Paul proved to have the better technique and finished his opponent at two minutes and 18 seconds into the fight. After the win, Jake had a confrontation with yet another YouTube boxer, KSI.
Hardcore boxing fans aren’t necessarily on board with these “celebrity” fights. Many expressed disappointment to see Billy Joe Saunders on the undercard of the Logan Paul vs. KSI fight. These matches are drawing in viewers, though, and ultimately that’s what a promoter wants to see.
With a 1-0 professional record, Jake Paul can now claim to be a boxer and seems willing to compete again sometime this year. Several opponents have already called the Ohio-born social media star out. An official opponent has not yet been confirmed.
Some felt that we’d see Jake Paul fight the aforementioned KSI. That’s a fight that both men claim to be interested in. This week, a former NBA star announced he’s willing to step into the ring against Jake.
Nate Robinson Challenges Jake Paul to a Fight
It’s been months since any high-profile boxing matches have taken place. It’s not entirely clear when this sport will get back to normal. That isn’t stopping fans and fighters from discussing future matchups, though.
This week, former NBA player Nate Robinson announced he’s training for a fight against Jake Paul. Robinson told TMZ his athleticism would lead to an easy victory.
“I’m a top-tier athlete! I’m putting my everything on the line for (Jake). Let’s get it done. It’s that simple,” Robinson said. “If I get trained with somebody like a [Mike] Tyson, [Floyd] Mayweather, [Terence] Crawford, [Vasyl] Lomachenko, if I fight and I train with some of the best of the best in the world, like please, I don’t think he stands a chance.”
Is this a fight that makes sense? Not necessarily. These two men don’t have a long-running feud and only one has any kind of boxing experience. It doesn’t take much for something like this to gain steam, though.
Jake Paul hasn’t responded to the callout yet. Some feel that his combat sports career may have already come to an end. If enough fans get on board, however, Jake is likely to respond in some way or another.
Not everyone feels this is the fight we’ll see. The bout between Paul and KSI is still the one that most people are talking about.
Odds On Robinson vs. Paul Are Not Yet Available
Not everyone is a fan of Logan and Jake Paul. In fact, many people have grown to dislike these YouTube personalities. There’s no denying the fact that they both have massive followings, though.
The proposed Robinson vs. Paul fight is already generating interest. Odds on this fight are not yet available. Fans can place their bets on the proposed matchup between Jake and KSI with Bovada, though.
As we mentioned earlier, Paul had a solid performance against AnEsonGib earlier this year. He’s still listed as the +110 underdog against KSI, though. It seems the oddsmakers are not completely sold on his skills as a boxer.
KSI came out victorious in his match against Logan Paul last year. He hasn’t fought since. He claims to be willing to fight Jake Paul and is currently listed as the -140 to come out victorious. That’s not much of a surprise.
Perhaps Robinson vs. Paul is the fight that ends up coming together. It will largely depend on how fans respond. We might even see Logan Paul fight Antonio Brown on this card!
