ONE on Prime 6 Odds and Predictions

One Fight Night Sat Jan 14

ONE on Prime is back with odds on the main card MMA bouts. This card is a mixed BJJ, kickboxing and MMA card, but the ONE on Prime 6 odds cover four MMA fights, each with money line odds only. If you’re building an MMA parlay ticket on the top MMA betting sites, this card has great additions to LFA and UFC this weekend.

ONE on Prime 6 Predictions

Two of the fights on this card are perfect for parlay picks. The Tonon and Sang money lines are huge MMA favorites, and with two easy to make value bets for bettors not interested in parlays.

  • Aung La N Sang -900
  • Garry Tonon -1000
  • Stamp Fairtex -225 Money Line
  • Jae Woong Kim -142

Stamp Fairtex may be the highest in betting confidence to return ratio, but Gary Tonon is a near sure thing as he bounces back from his title fight loss. Bet Kim only after you’ve put money on Stamp and the parlay picks.

ONE on Prime 6 Odds

You can get these ONE on Prime 6 odds at Betonline.ag, but betting sites legal in your area will appear below the picks.

Anissa Meksen +185 vs Stamp Fairtex -225

This is a custom rules match, with kickboxing rounds followed by MMA rounds. This fight is an interesting ‘who can survive’ match, with Meksen having advantages in round 1, and Stamp in round 2. Fairtex hasn’t been knocked out in her pro career, and Meksen hasn’t garnered any first round knockouts in her last twenty bouts.

How is Meksen on the Ground?

Meksen has been practicing BJJ and ground defense leading up to this match, but she would be a downright prodigy if she could catch up to the six years of work Stamp has put in to get her purple belt and multiple ONE FC level submissions. The ONE on Prime 6 odds reflect Meksen’s ground game and high likelihood of getting subbed in round 2. Meksen promises a “quick fight” but that may only be because she taps out in the opening moments of round 2.

Given Meksen’s lack of BJJ, age, and inability to finish in round 1, we’re leaning toward the Stamp Fairtex win, a $45 return per $100 wager.

Aung La N Sang -900 vs Gilberto Galvao +550

Gilbert is a decision fighter going on a 1-2 run, knocked out in 2017 and 2019. He’s not been very active, and hasn’t fought in 3 ½ years. The 40 year old Gilbert is looking for a comeback, but he hasn’t looked like himself since 2016. Sang is a former Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champion. He’s also 2-3 over his last five, but he’s been active, facing the best in each division since winning the double title in 2018. Overall, Sang has the better pool of fighters defeated, and he crushes Gilberto in finishing power.

How Can Gilberto Galvoa Win?

Gilberto will have to take the fight to a decision. Other than Jake Butler injuring himself, Galvoa hasn’t seen a finish since 2013. We’re worried about Galvoa’s chin in this fight. He was knocked out easily in his last two losses, and Sang has seen his last seven wins by knockout, with four in the very first round. This ONE on Prime 6 prediction pays $11 per $100 wagered, but doubles if you couple it with the Tonon win.

Garry Tonon -1000 vs Johnny Nunez +600

The opening bout features ‘The Lion Killer’ coming back after a knockout loss to Thanh Le in March 2022. Gary has finished five of his six ONE FC wins, and is being pitted against a TUF 22 and 25 competitor in Nunez. After losing all three of his TUF appearances, Nunez went on a 2-1 run. He hasn’t seen a finish since 2013, but has been finished three times by submission. Nunez also lost to fellow footlocker and skinnier Gary Tonon analog Ryan Hall in just 44 seconds.

How Can Nunez Win?

Given his history of bad submission defense, he has to find the early knockout. Tonon opted for a rushed, diving footlock strategy against Than Le, so we think we’re going to see the more patient, boxing and ground strike focused Tonon at ONE on Prime 6. Nunez needs Tonon to make significant mistakes, while Tonon would beat Nunez even if he’s evolved considerably.

Jae Woong Kim -142 vs Shoko Sato +112

This fight is a postlim, and former TFC champion Kim is 4-3 in ONE level competition. Sato is 3-2 at one, but hasn’t had a win in the promotion since 2020. The 35 year old’s career reaches back to 2007, while 29 year old Kim has been fighting since 2012. This advantage in experience is met with multiple injuries, but no knockout losses since 2012.

What are the Chances of a Sato Upset?

Sato has talent and he’s a vicious competitor. Looking at his career, you can see he’s bested a dozen or more journeymen. Kim’s 13-6 record puts him in the top 14% of Sato opponents; only 7 of Sato’s 50 fights have 13 or more wins, and he beat only three of them. We put Sato’s chances of a win around 30%. We’re considering Kim a value bet, but lower than the Stamp Fairtex win.

Big Parlay at ONE on Prime 6

This weekend has some fantastic parlay fights, but LFA 150 and ONE on Prime 6 take the top spots if you’re looking for sure wins. As we see more high level college wrestlers and BJJ fighters enter into MMA, you’ll see more smaller shows featuring deeply one sided fights as they pad their record for the big show. Keep an eye out for parlays filled with legacy fighters like Sang and multi sport athletes like Tonnon and Nikal.
