2023 WWE WrestleMania 39 Odds, Prop Bets and Predictions

Wrestlemania 39 Predictions And Odds

On Saturday and Sunday, April 1-2, the WWE will be live from the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, for WrestleMania 39.

The annual WrestleMania event, also known as the “Showcase of the Immortals,” is the Super Bowl of professional wrestling and sports entertainment. This year’s installment promises to be an exciting spectacle with some tremendous matches and the possible conclusion of intriguing storylines.

The most anticipated match of the weekend is a bout for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship as Roman Reigns puts his title and unbeaten streak on the line against Cody Rhodes.

You can bet on this main event match and the rest of the WM 39 lineup at the best WWE betting sites. Let’s step inside the squared circle to examine the WrestleMania 39 card and make our predictions.

WrestleMania 39 Odds and Matches

Currently, there are 13 matches scheduled for WM 39. As of this writing, it remains unclear as to which matches will be on Night 1 or Night 2. The following WrestleMania 39 odds are courtesy of BetOnline.

Fatal-4 Way Men’s Showcase Tag Team Match

  • Braun Strowman & Ricochet (+100)
  • Viking Raiders (+135)
  • The Street Profits (+175)
  • Chad Gable & Otis (+1400)

This is one of two “showcase” matches where the WWE does their usual unimaginative booking by placing a bunch of wrestlers into one meaningless bout.

There are three proven tag-teams in this match and one that’s kind of morphed into a tag-team more recently (Braun and Ricochet). The WrestleMania odds slightly favor Strowman and the former Prince Puma. But, can you really see this duo becoming a threat to the tag titles? I certainly don’t.

Chad Gable and Otis, along with The Street Profits, are closer to splitting up than winning a big PPV match and making a run at that tag belts.

That leaves us with the Viking Raiders. It seems, by eliminating the other teams, the Viking Raiders should win this match almost by default.

Their WM betting odds offer solid value for a team that’s being overlooked. Take those vicious Vikings to win this match and move on to a title shot in the future.

The Bet
Viking Raiders

Fatal 4-Way Women’s Showcase Tag Team Match

  • Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (NA)
  • Natalya & Shotzi (NA)
  • Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler (NA)
  • Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville (NA)

Unlike the men’s showcase match, this women’s showcase bout has more logic behind it. Rousey and Baszler have been terrorizing the SmackDown women’s division for quite some. They’ve also beatdown most of the other women in this match at one time or another.

The WWE could really build something cool with Rousey and Baszler if they keep giving them this unstoppable push. If there are two women who fans would believe could beat up the entire female locker room, it’s Ronda and Shayna.

There’s no reason to overthink things here. Take Rousey and Baszler to win in impressive fashion.

The Bet
Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler

Father vs Son Singles Match

  • Rey Mysterio (+130)
  • Dominik Mysterio (-175)

It’s been nearly seven months since Dominik turned on his father and joined the dark side at Clash at the Castle in September. Since then, the younger Mysterio has been a thorn in the side of his father, family and society as Dominik also did a stint in prison.

The entire WWE Universe will be rooting for Rey Mysterio to give his son, a hardened criminal, the beating that he deserves. And, WM 39 would certainly be the time to let the soon-to-be Hall of Famer get his revenge by scoring a victory for parents everywhere.

Unfortunately, I don’t see it happening. What better way to give someone the rub than to lose to them on the big stage?

A win for Dominik would do more for his storyline and his Judgement Day faction than any victory could do for Rey at this point in his career. Furthermore, with Rey being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this weekend, the majority of fans and bettors are expecting the legendary luchador to win.

Take the spoiled brat to pick up the win as the WWE swerves their fans.

The Bet
Dominik Mysterio

6-Woman Tag Team Match

  • Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus (-215)
  • Damage CTRL (+150)

Bayley and company have been at war against Becky Lynch since the 2022 SummerSlam PPV when they attacked Lynch. That beatdown sparked a bitter feud that has continued until this very event.

WWE HOF wrestlers Trish Stratus and Lita have combined forces with Becky to neutralize the advantage that Bayley and her cronies had.

Like some of the other WrestleMania matches, this storyline needs to come to an end. And, I don’t see a scenario where the star-studded trio of Lynch, Lita and Stratus lose.

The Bet
Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus

Singles Match

  • Seth Rollins (-500)
  • Logan Paul (+300)

This feud has a lot a lot of mileage left. So, whoever wins this weekend won’t be celebrating for too long as I see this storyline continuing for the near future.

Both men are very talented and deserving of a victory. But, if they’re going to keep this feud going then the WWE needs to give Rollins the win.

Having Logan Paul chase after Rollins to get revenge should make for entertaining programming especially if they can stretch that out to SummerSlam in August.

I don’t like the higher odds for Rollins, but the online betting sites are correct in making him the favorite. Look for Seth to outduel Logan in what could be the best match of the weekend.

The Bet
Seth Rollins

Heavyweight Singles Match

  • Brock Lesnar (-800)
  • Omos (+400)

It’s pretty incredible how far Lesnar has fallen. From the top star to feuding with Omos, a wrestler nobody cares about, Brock has certainly been forgotten about in 2023. And, to think, he came back to the WWE for this meaningless feud.

I don’t expect this match to last more than five minutes. The 410-pound Omos will try to use his impressive physical attributes like size and strength to dominate Brock.

But Lesnar will eventually fight back. Look for Brock to hit an F-5 on the giant Omos and the WWE to hype it up like it’s Hogan slamming Andre at WM 3.

The Bet
Brock Lesnar

Hell In A Cell Match

  • Finn Balor (-175)
  • Edge (+135)

This feud started nearly 10 months ago and has endured every twist and turn, injury, and ups and downs along the way. Now, the two men will fight each other inside a steel cage where their feud should come to an emotional conclusion.

The WrestleMania odds favor Finn Balor, but I think the online casinos got this one wrong.

Edge is a Hall of Fame star in the WWE and has done everything possible over the last year to put over The Judgment Day faction, which he initially started and was kicked out of by Balor. He even got his wife Beth Phoenix involved in this feud where they won a mix-tag match at Royal Rumble.

These two men have the potential to steal the show with a great Hell in a Cell match. With that said, it’s time to put this feud to bed. Take Edge to pick up the win at WM 39 and for both parties to go in different creative directions.

The Bet
Edge

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Match

  • Rhea Ripley (-1000)
  • (c) Charlotte Flair (+500)

These two women are going to put on a great match. They have the chemistry to tear down the house and steal the show.

Flair is the greatest female wrestler of all-time. The Queen has had many big WrestleMania moments in her brilliant career including a 2020 WrestleMania victory over Ripley for the NXT women’s title.

As much as I love the Flairs, it’s Ripley’s time to pick up her WrestleMania moment. Like Asuka, Ripley has greatly benefited from Triple H’s booking. I don’t see that ending anytime soon. Take “Mami” to pick up another big win for The Judgement Day faction.

The Bet
Rhea Ripley

WWE RAW Women’s Championship Match

  • (c) Bianca Belair (-120)
  • Asuka (-120)

Bianca Belair has been one of the best female wrestlers in the WWE over the last few years. She’s consistently put on great matches with everyone from Lynch to Banks and Bayley.

Her in-ring work has been stellar and her ability to deliver big matches has been admirable. Unfortunately, those two things won’t help Bianca win this weekend.

This WM 39 match is all about Asuka and her darker character that has really found success in 2023. Once Triple H took over the booking, Asuka was one of the wrestlers to immediately benefit from it.

She will continue to benefit from HHH’s belief in her as the Japanese superstar gets a big WrestleMania moment this weekend. I would jump on these odds now, before they lose value heading into the weekend.

The Bet
Asuka

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships

  • Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (-3000)
  • (c) The Usos (+800)

The Sami Zayn storyline over the last year was arguably the best angle that the WWE has put on in many years. In fact, some would say it’s the best creative story since the Attitude Era.

The reunited best friends of Owens and Zayn were pawns in the storyline of The Bloodline for the last year, but they could become kings after this weekend.

The Usos have dominated the tag team division for over a year. Their union with cousin Roman Reigns helped turn The Bloodline into the top faction in all of professional wrestling.

However, their reign of dominance is over. Just looking at the WrestleMania odds, you can see that the oddsmakers fully believe that The Usos will lose. I agree.

There’s nowhere to go in this storyline other than having Owens and Zayn win the titles. Unfortunately, there’s also no value to this bet.

The Bet
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

WWE United States Championship Match

  • (c) Austin Theory (-400)
  • John Cena (+250)

John Cena used to be the WWE’s top star. However, Hollywood called him from the squared circle to the entertainment spotlight and the former 16-time world champion is now nothing more than a prop for rising stars.

I’m not a fan of Theory, but he’s clearly a wrestler that the WWE is high on. In fact, after this weekend where Cena passes the torch, you can expect Theory to move up the ladder into the world title scene.

Cena will put over Theory and then ride off into the sunset of Hollywood to make more films and hopefully more episodes of Peacemaker. I wonder what the odds would be for this match if Cena wrestled as Peacemaker.

This win should be the first of several WrestleMania moments for Austin Theory in his WWE career.

The Bet
Austin Theory

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

  • (c) Gunther (+100)
  • Sheamus (+120)
  • Drew McIntyre (+300)

The on-again, off-again friendship between Sheamus and Drew McIntyre has been at the center of this Intercontinental storyline. Both men have feuded against each other and teamed up with each other over the last year to go to war against Gunther and his Imperium teammates.

McIntyre hasn’t held gold since he lost the WWE title in 2021. Sheamus has never been the Intercontinental champ. So, both men are sentimental picks for many fans.

For me, I’m taking Gunther to retain. There’s a buzz around him right now and it feels like the WWE has big plans for Gunther in the near future. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s getting world title shots before the year is out.

The Bet
Gunther

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match

  • Cody Rhodes (-550)
  • (c) Roman Reigns (+325)

Over the last two years, Roman Reigns went from being one of the top stars in the WWE to the only star the company has truly had over that span. His reign as the Head of the Table has been nothing short of remarkable.

Reigns has done every dastardly deed to his opponents and to his family members in The Bloodline to remain as The Tribal Chief. It’s been an incredible journey for Reigns and the WWE Universe.

Last year, the prodigal son Cody Rhodes returned to the WWE after a lengthy departure where he helped create a rival wrestling promotion – AEW.

Upon his return, the WWE Universe immediately got behind Rhodes. The grandson of a plumber instantly became one of the top stars in the company. It didn’t take long before the WWE brass, pundits and fans all realized that Cody was the only man with a real shot to dethrone Roman Reigns.

Cody’s Royal Rumble win in January set him up to challenge Reigns for the title at WM 39. But, the writing was on the wall last year before Rhodes suffered a torn pectoral in a feud against Seth Rollins. Although the fans cheered, it was a foregone conclusion that Cody was winning the RR match.

A new era will begin this weekend. Cody will take down Reigns to win the WWE Universal Championship and wrestling fans will be talking about this as if it’s akin to Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant, Bret Hart vs Steve Austin, or Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker.

Those were feuds that redefined their respective eras after history making WrestleMania matches. And, Cody’s win this weekend will do the same.

The Bet
Cody Rhodes

WrestleMania 39 Prop Bets

  • Over 3.5 Titles Changed (-120)
  • Under 3.5 Titles Changed (-120)

This could be one of my favorite wagers for all of WrestleMania as this prop bet provides great value. We all know that Cody Rhodes will defeat Roman Reigns and that the Usos will drop the tag-team titles to Owens and Zayn.

So, now we have to decide if we’ll see two more title changes or not. For me, I like the Over in this one because I do believe we’ll have two more title changes.

Rhea Ripley will take down Charlotte Flair and Asuka will defeat Bianca Belair, which gives us the four title changes that we need to hit the Over. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gunther dropped the IC belt, as the odds are starting to shift towards this happening. Either way, take the Over on this WM 39 prop bet.

The Bet
Over 3.5 Title Changes
