Bellator and the UFC both have action-packed cards with great MMA bets for this weekend. Oktagon 47 is also scheduled for this Saturday and has plenty of exciting fights for bettors to wager on.

Bellator 300: Nurmagomedov vs. Primus

  • Date: Saturday, October 7th
  • Time: 6:30 p.m. Eastern
  • Location: Pechanga Arena, San Diego, California
Best BetOdds
Maciej Rozanski+190
Henry Corrales+115
Cris Cyborg-600

After a week off, Bellator MMA returns this weekend for a massive fight card in San Diego, CA. The betting odds for Bellator 300 are loaded with great MMA wagers.

Initially, the main card featured four title fights. However, Linton Vassell was forced to withdraw from his title fight with heavyweight champion Ryan Bader. There are still plenty of good matchups to choose from, though.

The three fighters I like the most this weekend are: Maciej Rozanksi (+190), Henry Corrales (+115), and Cris Cyborg (-600).

Maciej Rozanksi (+190)

According to Bovada Sportsbook, Maciej Rozanksi (+190) is a slight underdog this weekend as he takes on Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov (-260) in a light heavyweight matchup. Rozanksi’s odds have faded slightly this week, as he was listed at +170 over the weekend.

I think Rozankis’ submission skills will be the deciding factor in this one. If he can bring this fight to the ground, then Rozanksi should be able to pull off the upset win.

Henry Corrales (+115)

Another underdog that I like this weekend is Henry Corrales (+115). Corrales is taking on Kai Kamaka III (-150) at featherweight. Corrales’s odds have shortened in the last few days, so this could be your last chance to place MMA bets on him as an underdog.

I like Corrales in this fight because he is a more well-rounded fighter and can finish his opponents. Corrales has seven KO wins, six submission wins, and eight decision wins in his career.

Kamaka, on the other hand, has earned nine of his 11 career wins by decision. Corrales also has a slight size advantage that should give him an edge over Kamaka.

Cris Cyborg (-600)

One of the three championship fights scheduled for Bellator 300 is between Women’s Featherweight champion Cris Cyborg (-600) and Cat Zingano (+385). Cyborg has been one of the most dominant female MMA fighters in the history of the sport.

The best sports betting sites have Cyborg as a heavy favorite, and I tend to agree. Despite being a legend of Women’s MMA in her own right, Zingano is simply not on the same level as Cyborg.

Oktagon 47

  • Date: Saturday, October 7th
  • Time: 12:00 p.m. Eastern
  • Location: Tipos Arena, Bratislava, Slovakia
Best BetOdds
Adam Palasz-186
Lukasz Siwiec+105
Karlos Vemola-145

Another exciting MMA event for this weekend is Oktagon 47. There are 10 MMA bouts scheduled for the event, including a fight for the Light Heavyweight championship.

Bovada has exciting betting markets for the main card bouts for Oktagon 47. The three fighters that I like the most for this event are Adam Palasz (-186), Lukasz Siwiec (+105), and Karlos Vemola (-145).

Adam Palasz (-186)

Polish fighter Adam Palasz (8-2) is looking to bounce back from just his second career loss. Palasz (-196) is a slight favorite as he takes on Sofiane Boukichou (+140) this weekend. Both heavyweights are 3-2 over their last five fights.

I think Palasz will be able to get back in the win column this weekend. His loss to Lazar Todev was the first time that he ever went to a decision.

The loss should make Palasz more motivated to get back to his finishing ways. He has a submission win, but I think Palasz aims to finish this fight with his striking and will get his eighth KO win.

Lukasz Siwiec (+105)

Another exciting fight scheduled for Oktagon 47 this weekend is a welterweight bout between Lukasz Siwiec (+105) and Amiran Gogoladze (-143). Gogoladze is a slight favorite, but I think Siwiec is the better option for MMA bettors.

Siwiec is a little undersized for the division, but that has not stopped him so far. He has only lost twice, and his most recent defeat was a split-decision loss. If he can close the distance on Gogoladze, then Siwiec should have a good chance at getting his seventh career submission win.

Karlos Vemola (-145)

The main event at Oktagon 47 will feature Karlos Vemola defending his light heavyweight championship. Vemola (-145) is favored to retain his belt against Pavol Langer (+110).

Langer (12-9) is the interim champion and has won three straight fights. I think that streak will come to an end this weekend. Vemola (35-7) has not lost a fight at light heavyweight since 2019.

Six of his eight wins over that time have come via submission. Vemola did lose by decision to Patrik Kincl in May of this year, but that fight was contested at Middleweight. I believe Vemola will get the win in dominant fashion this weekend.

UFC Fight Night: Dawson vs. Green

  • Date: Saturday, October 7th
  • Time: 4:00 p.m. Eastern
  • Location: UFC Apex, Las Vegas, Nevada
Best BetOdds
Johnny Munoz Jr.(-110)
Diana Belbiţă(+137)
Alex Morono(+140)
Grant Dawson(-425)

The UFC is back this weekend with an 11-fight card at the UFC Apex. There are no title fights on this card, but there are still plenty of exciting matchups. Bovada has MMA bets available for every bout on this card.

This card features a wide range of fighters, so narrowing the card down to my favorite bets was challenging. There are four fighters I like this weekend in Las Vegas, including Johnny Munoz Jr. (-110), Diana Belbita (+137), Alex Morono (+140), and Grant Dawson (-425).

Johnny Munoz Jr. (-110)

One of the most challenging fights to predict on this UFC card is the bantamweight matchup between Johnny Munoz Jr. (-110) and Aoriqileng (-110). Both fighters are just 2-3 in their last five fights.

Aoriqileng (24-11) is the more experienced fighter, but I like Munoz Jr. (12-3) to pick up the win. The deciding factor will be whether or not Munoz Jr. is able to get this fight to the ground. He will have a huge advantage on the mat over Aoriqileng.

Munoz Jr. is 7-0 in fights that end via submission. Aoriqileng, on the other hand, is 0-3 in those fights. If he can get the fight to the ground, Munoz should be able to use his grappling skills to secure the win.

Diana Belbita (+137)

The main event of the prelims could steal the show. Karolina Kowalkiewicz (15-7) is scheduled to take on Diana Belbiţă (15-7) in the Women’s Strawweight division. Kowalkiewicz (-165) is the betting favorite.

Odds

Despite the odds, I think Belbita is the won getting her hand raised in this one. Kowalkiewicz is a killer, but her loss to Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 205 derailed her career. She went 2-6 in her next eight fights following that defeat.

Belbita is the bigger fighter, and she has shown finishing power that Kowalkiewicz has lacked throughout her career. Kowalkiewicz has just four finishes in her career, compared to 10 for Belbita. I think Belbita will get the win and move into the Top 15.

Alex Morono (+140)

Another underdog that I like this weekend is Alex Morono (+140). He (23-8) is scheduled to take on Joaquin Buckley (16-6) in a welterweight clash this Saturday.

Both fighters have knockout power, but Buckley has 12 KO wins to Morono’s six. So, I think Morono should avoid a striking match and take the fight to the ground instead. He has seven submissions wins, while Buckley has zero.

If the fight goes to a decision, then that could also favor Morono. He has nine career wins by decision, while Buckley only has four.

Buckley has too much power to let him hang around. I think Morono needs to look for the submission early to minimize the chances of being knocked out.

Grant Dawson (-425)

Rounding out my list of the best MMA bets for this week is the main event of UFC Fight Night: Dawson vs. Green. Grant Dawson (-425) is a heavy favorite to get the win over UFC veteran Bobby Green (+310). The two will compete at lightweight on Saturday.

Dawson (20-1-1) is currently ranked 10th in the UFC lightweight standings. A dominant win over Green (30-14-1) could help Dawson solidify himself as a Top-10 fighter in the division.

However, winning will be easier said than done. Dawson’s relied heavily on his grappling skills to earn him 13 of his 20 career wins. However, Green is a well-rounded fighter in his own right and can hold his own on the ground.

Still, I think Dawson is the way to go in this one. I think the fight will be closer than many people are expecting. Dawson should pick up the win over Green and remain undefeated in the UFC.
