The design at GTbets is functional with a simple blue and orange color scheme. The drop-down lists and menus are intuitive.
There is an accessible tile-based layout for finding the games in the casino. I also loved the neat bet slip arrangement in the sportsbook. This made it easy to organize and jump between my sports wagers.
That said, I noticed you are unable to view the odds and lines without first signing in. This is not ideal for potential new bettors thinking about joining GTbets. Once you sign up, odds are displayed initially in American (moneyline style) and can be changed to fractional or decimal with the click of one button. I found a good list of sports at GTbets, including less popular sports like darts and rugby. I loved the number of minor leagues available for each sport. The accompanying racebook also had lots of betting options.
The bet slip was well-designed and made it easy to keep track of my wagers. This included different sections for Straight Bets, Parlays, Round Robins, and Teasers. It also had “If Bets” – where you can combine up to seven straight bets and customize the winning conditions.
Turning your bet into a parlay, robin, teaser, or If a bet is done with the click of one button on the right-hand fold of the screen. If you’re able to buy points on that particular game, that option pops up right away on the right-hand side of the screen which is extremely convenient. I’m a fan of the fact you can tinker around with all of these options on the same screen and it updates potential payouts as well as the conditions needed to win.
The standout feature at GTbets was the ability to select my favorite team for the NFL, College Football, NBA and College Basketball. This gave me a 0.5-point advantage on odds for all of that team’s games. Over the course of the season, this made for good returns.

Available Sports
Besides the main US sports, I found other international sports to bet on, such as rugby, cricket, handball and darts.
The range of leagues on offer was impressive. This included everything from the West Germany regional soccer league to the Icelandic basketball league. Sports leagues which did not yet have odds were not listed and are only added once lines become available. However, GTbets adds odds quite far in advance, meaning you can see lines for some major sports that aren’t in season yet.
The racebook features 89 different A, B and C-class racetracks to bet on. The one thing missing from available sports was a category for entertainment betting such as betting on politics, competitive eating or TV programmes. It’s possible these are added sporadically, but there was no dedicated space for them on the site.

Betting Types
GTbets has all the standard betting options, including spreads, totals, moneyline bets, and futures. There are so many leagues in each sport to choose from that these standard betting options kept me entertained. GTbets is a match most rival sportsbooks for straight bets.
That said, I was disappointed with the lack of proposition and specials bets. There are some basic props, such as half-time scores and individual player goals. However, I would have liked to see more props options – at least for the big-league games. The betting limits are a bit lower than I’ve seen on other sportsbooks.

Live Betting Options
For me, GTbets is a good live betting option, with an extensive list of games to bet on. There are live bets for all major sports, from tennis to football, covering minor leagues as well as big competitions.
I saw some basic props options for certain games, like half-time scores. Otherwise, the wagers are the standard totals, moneylines and spreads.
The live betting layout made it very easy for me to find my desired live bets. There is a list for ongoing games and a separate list for scheduled games up to five days in advance.
GTbets Casino
GTbets provides good slots and virtual poker games. All games give free-play options, which is great for newbies. The live dealer casino is also one of the few to provide Hold’Em games to the American market.
I thought the daily casino tournaments were a nice touch. These allow you to rank against other players for the chance at a big prize pot. This added welcome sociability to my virtual gaming experience.
Unfortunately, I found the other game options limited.

These slot incentives, combined with the number of titles and slot tournaments, made for a fantastic slot-playing experience.
Blackjack
GTbets provides seven different blackjack titles. There is a single deck blackjack option which gives a good RTP. I also enjoyed the 21 Burn. This gives you a third face-down card in your hand, in which you can choose to place a “Burn” bet as a side wager.
Past these titles, I only saw variations of the standard six-deck blackjack. The practice mode allows you to play free blackjack games and learn the rules before putting money down. This is a good option if you are a rookie, or just want to familiarize yourself with the different variations.
If you are passing through, GTbets is an okay blackjack option. However, I would look elsewhere if you are a committed blackjack player.

I was a big fan of the virtual poker titles at GTbets. There were seven classic poker varieties, including Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better. In addition, there were six alternative poker games, including Red Dog, Caribbean and Tri Card. This variety kept me very entertained.

Live Dealer
GTbets runs live dealer games by Fresh Deck Studios. The live dealer casino options are limited. There are two blackjack games, three roulette games and one live baccarat game at any one time.
