Pick 1: Denmark (-115) vs. China

Saturday, July 22nd at 8:00 AM ET

One of the most intriguing matchups in terms of opening round games, will be Denmark taking on China. Although the Chinese were once considered powerhouses of the women’s soccer division, they’ve fallen off in recent years.

They enter the World Cup in turmoil with an uncertain future and shaky pre-tournament fixtures have not instilled confidence in this aging side.

Opposing them on Saturday morning will be the upstart, Danes. Following a 16-year absence, Denmark returns to the world stage after cruising through qualifying for the World Cup with their strongest team ever.

Coach Lars Sondergaard has found a winning formula, and their goal-scoring acumen is poised to give opposing defenses some trouble in this tournament.

Expect Denmark to come out with energy, a high press, and a big pace advantage over the Chinese women.  The Danes have one of the best players in the world in midfielder Pernille Harder, and she’ll be instrumental in winning balls, distributing passes, and won’t be shy about pushing forward and taking chances at goal.

China’s roster is weak and old at the back, and despite plenty of experience from seven straight knockout rounds reached at the World Cup level, it’s tough to envision them seeing much possession on Saturday morning.

The skill and creativity of the Danes is something that is on the rise, and their path to reach the World Cup has prepared them very well to take on China’s experience.

At a generous -115 price with Women’s World Cup betting sites, Denmark should begin their World Cup campaign with a comfortable three points.

Pick 2: Tom Aspinall (-450) vs. Marcin Tybura

Saturday, July 22 at 7:00 PM ET

One of the fascinating bouts on the docket takes place in the main event of the evening as Londoner Tom Aspinall battles fellow heavyweight Marcin Tybura.

Aspinall enters the octagon almost one year after suffering a knee injury. Despite the layoff, Aspinall sits comfortably within the UFC’s top five heavyweights.

Before the knee injury, Aspinall had an impressive eight-fight win streak over many impressive combatants. Aspinall is incredibly well-rounded as a fighter, who has excelled both on the mat and while standing.

Tybura enters with an impressive resume of his own, but at 37 years of age, the Polish striker has shown some signs of fading in recent bouts. Tybura wasn’t great his last time out in February against heavyweight Blagoy Ivanov.  While he is an accomplished wrestler and grappler, his standing and striking leaves a lot to be desired.

This is where Aspinall should take full advantage. Aspinall is an impressive and versatile striker, with legitimate knockout power. Nine of his twelve victories have come via knockout.

You can expect Aspinall’s dangerous fists to reintroduce themselves to the heavyweight division. He remains a legitimate contender within this weight class and an early-round knockout seems likely on home soil for Saturday evening.

It’s a steep price at UFC betting sites, but one worth adding to our parlay card due to the talent discrepancy between these two fighters.

Two-Team Parlay Odds

If you prefer to just go with a two-leg parlay card, Denmark (-115) and Tom Aspinall (-450), the parlay odds will be +129. This means you would win $129 dollars for every $100 dollars wagered.

Pick 3: Ottawa Redblacks +5 (-115) at Calgary Stampeders

Sun. July 23rd at 7:00 PM ET

The CFL is back, and we have been quite successful at football betting sites with our selections throughout the first few weeks. Saturday’s afternoon clash features one of the bigger mismatches on paper in Week 7,as the 2-3 Calgary Stampeders play host to the 2-3 Ottawa Redblacks.

The Redblacks enter Week 7 coming off a shockin,g comeback 31-28 overtime win over Winnipeg last week. New quarterback Dustin Crum showed his dual-threat ability as the Kent State product had two rushing touchdowns along with 261 passing yards.

Despite his inexperience, Crum has the underdog Redblacks optimistic about the second half of the season. In a wide-open East Division, it’s tough to count out Ottawa given what we saw from Crum last week against an impressive Winnipeg team.

For Calgary, it hasn’t been the season they would have expected to date. The Stamps have been woeful with their special teams play and it’s to the point where it has become a real concern.

Calgary escaped with a narrow victory against an underwhelming Saskatchewan side last weekend, but the Stampeders didn’t inspire much confidence in the process.

Their defense has kept them in games thus far, but their offense has been out of sync all season long. Calgary needs to do much better with finishing drives and scoring touchdown instead of settling for field goals. They enter Week 7 last in the entire league in terms of passing yards, a huge reason for their surprising struggles.

Many fans and experts were counting this Ottawa side out after their key injuries at quarterback, but Crum has already proven his doubters wrong.

He’s mobile, possesses a big arm, and has become the leader that this offense needs. Crum has lead running back Devonte Williams at his disposal, which will only make this unit even more dangerous.

Given the struggles of the Stampeders, ride with the Ottawa momentum on Sunday and back the Redblacks to cover the spread.

Three-Team Parlay Odds

Taking the first three parlay-legs, Denmark (-115), Tom Aspinall (-450), Ottawa Redblacks +5 (-115), will return exciting +327 parlay odds. This means you would win $327 dollars for every $100 dollars wagered.

Pick 4: Toronto Blue Jays (-125) at Seattle Mariners

Sat. July 22nd at 4:10 PM ET

Our final selection of this weekend parlay card will be on the diamond where the Toronto Blue Jays look to continue their impressive run of form in an intriguing matchup against the Seattle Mariners.

On Saturday, these two American League contenders will do battle in an impressive pitching matchup featuring Toronto’s Kevin Gausman against Seattle’s hard-throwing righty, Logan Gilbert.

Seattle enters the weekend 5.5 games back of the final Wild Card spot in the American League. With the trade deadline fast approaching, it is certainly crunch time for the Mariners.

Although Gilbert has put together a solid campaign, he has been much more proficient away from home than in Seattle.

At home, Gilbert has been pretty average in 2023, sporting a .240 batting average from opponents, as well as a staggering .425 slugging percentage. He holds a 4.25 ERA in Seattle, and that should have an impressive array of Blue Jays’ bats primed and ready to face him.

The Jays enter Saturday as the hottest team in the entire American League going back to June 1st, and have really improved their collective approaches at the dish. They’re striking out less and finding ways to manufacture runs. Toronto enters the weekend three games up on the Boston Red Sox for the final Wild Card spot in the American League.

Toronto will counter Gilbert with their ace on the hill, and one of the likely contenders for this year’s AL Cy Young award in Kevin Gausman.

The crafty right-hander has been sidelined for the past couple of weeks with some discomfort on his left side, so he’ll be well-rested and keen to pitch. Gausman was strong in his last outing before the All-Star break against Detroit.

These MLB betting odds are right where they should be for the favored Blue Jays. Look for their offense to take full advantage of Gilbert, given his struggles with his home ballpark.

Add in the rest advantage of Gausman, this is definitely a valued final leg to this weekend’s parlay predictions.

Four-Team Parlay Odds

And there you have it, folks! Four exciting wagers spanning throughout a loaded weekend slate. If you choose to wager on all four selections of this parlay card, you will receive +669 parlay odds. This means that you would win $669 dollars for every $100 dollars wagered.
